The full story

Detailed itinerary.

Days 1–2

Wilderness Kulala Desert Lodge

Wilderness Kulala Desert Lodge shares the Kulala Wilderness Reserve's private gate access with its sister property Little Kulala, but at a larger scale and a more accessible luxury price point. 2 nights at this camp.

Days 3–5

Desert Rhino Camp

Desert Rhino Camp is fundamentally a wildlife and conservation camp, whose principal attraction is access to the desert-adapted black rhino of north-western Namibia, tracked on foot in partnership with Save the Rhino Trust. 3 nights at this camp.

Days 6–8

Serra Cafema

Serra Cafema is one of Namibia's genuinely exceptional properties and the clear flagship of the far-north portfolio — one of the most remote permanent camps in southern Africa, on the Kunene River right on the Angolan border. 3 nights at this camp.

Day 9

Departure
