The full story

Detailed itinerary.

Days 1–3

Wilderness Chitabe

Chitabe sits on a wildlife-rich peninsula formed where the Gomoti and Santantadibe channels converge, directly adjacent to Moremi Game Reserve. 3 nights at this camp.

Days 4–6

Wilderness Mokete

Opened in 2024, Mokete is the newest and most remote camp in the Wilderness Botswana portfolio and the only permanent tourism camp in the Mababe Depression — a vast grassland region between Chobe National Park and Moremi Game Reserve, fed by the perennial Mababe River and linked onward to the Linyanti via the Savuti Channel. 3 nights at this camp.

Days 7–8

Wilderness King's Pool

King's Pool takes its name from an actual royal visit: Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustaf reportedly spent his honeymoon at this lagoon, and the camp's barge is named the "Queen Silvia" after his wife. 2 nights at this camp.

Day 9

Departure

Transfer to the airport or airstrip for onward or homeward flights. Transfer modes and flight timings are confirmed by your consultant.
