The full story

Detailed itinerary.

Stop 1

Dinaka

Dinaka occupies a private 40,000-hectare game reserve on the northern boundary of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve — an entirely different ecosystem from Ker & Downey's Delta camps, a 60-million-year-old semi-arid Kalahari biome.

Stop 2

Okuti

Okuti takes its character from the Maunachira River channel flowing past camp, prized for birdlife, fish and sandy banks, inside Moremi Game Reserve — one of Botswana's most reliable, year-round game-viewing areas.

Stop 3

Maxa or Shinde Footsteps

Choose between Maxa and Shinde Footsteps. Maxa sits beneath towering ebony trees overlooking the permanent, hippo-frequented Maxa Lagoon, in a remote and rarely explored corner of the north-eastern Delta near the source of the Selinda Spillway, within the vast KAZA Transfrontier Conservation Area.

Day 7
