Skukuza Safari Lodge

Skukuza Safari Lodge sits inside Skukuza Rest Camp, Kruger National Park's largest and most central camp, giving guests same-day access to game drives without needing to pass back through an entrance gate. Built with green-building initiatives to minimise its ecological footprint and to create local construction and operating jobs, the 128-room lodge is managed by the aha Hotels & Lodges group and is positioned as a modern, larger-scale alternative to Kruger's smaller tented camps.

Accommodation comprises 91 standard rooms (king-size or two single beds), 22 adjoining family rooms and 7 wheelchair-friendly universal rooms, plus 8 luxury suites with a separate lounge, two double beds, a bathtub and walk-in shower, and a kitchenette with bar fridge and coffee machine. All rooms include air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a private patio, an electronic safe and a desk. On-site facilities include the Sisonke Bar and veranda overlooking the gardens, pool and a baobab tree, the Mooka Outdoor Area for private functions, a swimming pool next to the gym, the AM Spa, and access to Skukuza Golf Course, plus an FNB bank branch, a Total service station, a post office, on-site doctors and the Park Shop within Skukuza Rest Camp. Activities include morning, sunset and night game drives and guided bush walks.
