Shalati Safari Camp
Shalati Safari Camp sits on Mnisi Tribal Land at the gate of the Manyeleti Game Reserve, on the R40 between Hazyview and Hoedspruit. The camp employs only people from the local community and positions itself around culture, wildlife and local hospitality.
Accommodation is spread across several sections — tented camps and thatched chalets — and sources disagree on the exact unit counts and total capacity, so confirm which section and configuration a booking refers to directly with the lodge. All units are reported to have en-suite bathrooms and mosquito nets.
Activities include half-day morning drives within the Manyeleti and full-day drives to Kruger's Orpen Gate with meal stops, plus bush walks in Kruger; these are typically arranged separately from accommodation, so confirm inclusions directly. A thatched dining room serves buffet and à la carte meals, with a licensed bar, a boma and a swimming pool.
