Muweti Bush Lodge

Muweti Bush Lodge sits inside the Balule Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger, in the Grietjie area near Phalaborwa, about four kilometres from the Olifants River. Accommodation combines tented chalets with a self-catering cottage: the tented chalets have a king four-poster bed, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, portable air-conditioning and a private deck, while the cottage has a queen bedroom, a twin bedroom, a full kitchen and a covered braai area.

Chalet rates include dinner, bed and breakfast plus two guided game drives a day, served communally under the stars; cottage guests self-cater, with extra drives available at a charge. The lodge reports some of the Big Five, and a waterhole in front of the pool deck draws regular elephant visits, with Drakensberg views and sundowners on the Olifants River banks. Massage treatments and board games round out the facilities, alongside free Wi-Fi and airport transfers.
