Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge
Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge lies in the Balule Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger, within a traversing area of roughly 12,000 hectares. The original camp dates to around 1960 and has since been expanded and modernised, and the lodge carries a Tourism Grading Council of South Africa four-star endorsement. It is owner-operated by Tony and Alma.
Accommodation comprises King or Twin rooms, King or Twin interleading family units, and the Impala Lily Suite with its own private plunge pool and wine on arrival. Thatched rondavels have al fresco showers, air conditioning, fans and safes, with family rooms sleeping up to six. The safari programme runs two game drives a day in open 10-seater Land Cruisers in Big Five country, with walking safaris also offered. Three meals a day are served in the dining room, under acacia trees at lunch and in the boma at night, and there is a Tranquility Lapa spa on site. Families are welcome at all ages.
