Wilderness Little Mombo

Little Mombo occupies its own quiet corner of Chief's Island, set under giant jackalberry and sausage trees across from its larger sister camp, within the same private Moremi concession. Sharing the concession's floodplain frontage means the intensity of predator-prey activity here matches Mombo's — lion, leopard, wild dog and cheetah are all regularly seen — but the setting is dramatically smaller and more secluded.

The camp is built as a self-contained three-tent property with its own lounge, dining room, kitchen and boma connected by raised walkways, allowing it to operate independently while matching Mombo's build quality. Suites are finished with copper bathtubs, private plunge pools, separate sitting rooms and dual rainfall showers, making it one of the most intimate high-end safari products in the Delta and a natural fit for exclusive-use bookings, milestone celebrations, or multigenerational family groups.

Game viewing centres on twice-daily drives across the same predator-rich floodplains as Mombo, supplemented by a nearby game hide, helicopter safaris and strong birding, including sightings of the endangered wattled crane.
