Third Bridge Campsite
Third Bridge takes its name from the crossing over one of the Delta's channels at the heart of Moremi, and is one of the reserve's best-known public campsites — prized by self-drive travellers for a genuinely wild setting where lion and hyena are regularly heard, and sometimes seen, from camp at night.
It sits centrally between the Xini/South Gate area to the south and Xakanaxa to the north, making it a natural overnight stop on a self-drive or mobile-safari circuit through Moremi. Like the other DWNP public campsites, it is unfenced bring-your-own-tent camping with basic ablutions — not a serviced lodge — and requires an advance-booked camping concession permit.
Rooms: none — bring-your-own-tent camping only. Key activities: self-driven game drives, water crossings, access to surrounding floodplain and woodland game-viewing. Facilities: basic ablutions; no shop, no restaurant, fully self-catering.
