Senyati Safari Camp is a genuine, well-known bush safari camp in the Lesoma Valley, about 20km from Kasane, built entirely around its own floodlit waterhole. It is famous among photographers for the volume of game that visits: on a good day more than 400 elephants pass through, alongside buffalo herds exceeding 300 in summer, plus hyena, mongoose, warthog, roan antelope, baboon, sable and the occasional lion or leopard. An underground photographic hide sits right at the waterhole's edge for ground-level shots.

Accommodation covers three tiers. Eight self-catering chalets (all facing the waterhole, with fridge, stove, cutlery, crockery, linen, en-suite shower/toilet and 18000 BTU air-conditioning): 1 Double Chalet (sleeps 4), 4 Family Chalets (sleep 4, two beds on a mezzanine — not ideal for elderly guests) and 3 Double Twin Chalets (sleep 4-10 across two en-suite bedrooms, up to 70sqm, suited to two families). Senyati also has 19 campsites each with its own ablution facility, and a single luxury "Chobe Glamper" unit (electric blanket, Nespresso machine, private patio/BBQ, hot bath) sold as an all-inclusive 3-night honeymoon-style package with transfers, meals, drinks, a sunset cruise or tiger fishing, and 3 game drives.

Senyati runs its own game drives and day tours into Chobe National Park, and can arrange Chobe River sunset cruises, tiger fishing, and Victoria Falls day trips (including a helicopter option). Facilities: bar and raised look-out deck over the waterhole, free Wi-Fi at the bar/deck, security guards at night, airport/shopping transfers for fly-in guests. December-January is the best period for birdwatching here.

Rooms: 8 self-catering chalets (1 Double, 4 Family, 3 Double Twin) + 19 campsites (each with own ablution) + 1 luxury "Chobe Glamper" honeymoon unit. Facilities: bar and raised look-out deck over the waterhole, free Wi-Fi at bar/deck, security guards at night, airport and shopping transfers, braai areas at chalets. Known for waterhole game-viewing volume (400+ elephants on a good day) and photographic hide.
