Nogatsaa Pans Lodge sits in one of Chobe National Park's most remote and least-visited corners, roughly 80km from the more heavily trafficked Chobe riverfront near Kasane. It is the only lodge operating in this part of the park, meaning sightings here aren't shared with vehicles from neighbouring properties — marketed explicitly as an 'arm-chair safari' experience: unhurried, exclusive, and free of the convoy culture found on the riverfront. The lodge is built on the edge of Kwikamba Pan, the largest of a cluster of natural clay-bottom pans that fill seasonally and draw large elephant herds and a wide range of game through both wet and dry seasons.

The accommodation comprises 12 canvas tented suites raised on platforms — 10 twin/double suites plus 2 family suites — styled simpler and more classically 'safari camp' than some higher-design competitors, with lime-washed wooden floors and private decks positioned to look directly out over the pan. Bathrooms feature double vanities and separate indoor/outdoor showers; rooms include device charging points, personal safes and emergency air horns, a nod to the fully wild, unfenced setting.

Days are built around twice-daily open-vehicle game drives through mopane/teak woodland and along the Ngwezumba riverbed, supplemented by static wildlife-watching from private hides and from the lodge's own elevated deck. The main lodge building sits on a raised platform with dining, bar and lounge overlooking the water, and evenings typically end around a boma firepit with resident hippos audible in the background.
