Mopiri

Mopiri rests on the pristine shores of Weboro Lake, an untouched corner of the northwest Okavango Delta around 290km from Maun. Run by Roots & Journeys, the lodge leans into its wetland setting with panoramic Delta views from every room and water-based activities as the centrepiece of a stay.

Accommodation comprises 10 units — 7 tented rooms and 3 family suites — spacious, light and airy with king-size beds and large private decks. En-suite bathrooms feature double sinks and large rain showers. Facilities include a swimming pool plus the Delta's only floating pool, the full-service Delta Dreams Spa, a curio shop/trading post, and solar power with charging points in the main area and rooms; Wi-Fi is available in limited areas only.

Activities include motorboat cruises through papyrus-lined channels, mokoro excursions, catch-and-release lure fishing (March–December), sunset cruises on a double-decker boat, birding for species including the Pel's fishing owl, cultural visits to nearby villages (Etsha 6, Etsha 13, Jedebe), optional helicopter flights, and day trips to Tsodilo Hills. Mokoro excursions are limited to guests aged 12 and older.
