Little Maru is the second, even more exclusive camp operated by Okavango Hidden Gems in the NG32 concession, roughly 80km from Maun and bordering Moremi Game Reserve. Formerly known as Camp Maru, it shares its sister camp Amber River Camp's "touching the earth lightly" ethos and 1930s safari styling, but at a smaller, more intimate scale — positioned beneath leadwood trees at the edge of a lagoon.

Accommodation consists of just 3 canvas tents with wide overhangs, sleeping a maximum of 6 guests, each with extra-length king or convertible twin beds, en-suite bathroom, private veranda facing the lagoon, and — in keeping with the camp's back-to-basics luxury philosophy — no air conditioning. Activities are shared with Amber River Camp's offering: 4x4 game drives (in a shared six-person vehicle, with private drives available at extra cost), mokoro excursions year-round, and bush walks. The lagoon draws hippo and abundant birdlife, while the wider concession offers high lion, wild dog and cheetah concentrations. The camp is 100% solar-powered, with WiFi in main areas only and no cell reception (a satellite phone is available).

As with Amber River Camp, Little Maru shares Okavango Hidden Gems' company-level TripAdvisor rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 25 reviews, ranked #57 of 75 specialty lodging in the Okavango Delta. Reviews of the camp specifically highlight its sense of exclusivity and privacy, the quality of the food (an eight-course-style culinary standard is often mentioned across the group's camps), and the personal, small-group nature of the experience — reviewers frequently describe it as the more intimate of the operator's two properties.
