Kiri Camp occupies a private concession on the Kiri River system deep in the Okavango Delta, in an area previously largely inaccessible even by Delta standards. Its private-concession status permits off-road driving and night drives, plus armed walking safaris through surrounding islands — activities restricted in more heavily trafficked public areas of the Delta. The area is known for strong lion and buffalo interactions and comparatively rare African wild dog sightings, alongside leopard and cheetah.

The ten eco-luxury canvas tents (eight doubles and two family units) are built on elevated decks set into a slope, giving each tent privacy and views while allowing the tents themselves to visually recede so that passing wildlife remains the focus. Interiors combine an old-safari aesthetic with modern conveniences including hot and cold running water, flush toilets and electricity.

Activity variety is a strength here: beyond conventional game drives, guests can take motorised boat rides during peak flood season, glide by mokoro through water lilies, or join walking safaris where guides interpret smaller ecological details as well as larger game. Guest feedback describes close sightings of lion and elephant during walking safaris.

Rooms: 10 tents — 2 family tents + 8 double tents, on elevated decks. Max guests: 24. All ages welcome — family friendly. Facilities: tented dining/bar/lounge with fire pits, plunge pool, in-room spa therapist, library. Solar power with battery bank.
