Kala Camp

Kala Camp, opened in 2022, is the more traditional and intimate sister property to the flagship Setari Camp, set about 12km southeast within the same private NG/24 concession of the Okavango Delta. It's run by the same small, owner-run Setari Camp collection, alongside Setari Camp and the Treehouse.

Accommodation comprises 7 luxury tents on raised wooden platforms with panoramic views over the Delta floodplain, each with an en-suite bathroom (shower, wash basin, toilet) and hot water available day and night. Camp facilities include a swimming pool with loungers, a main tented area serving as dining room and sitting area, outdoor decking for al fresco dining, and a boma area with a fire and sandpit feature. Power runs on a hybrid solar-and-generator system, with Wi-Fi available at camp.

Activities centre on boating and game drives, offered in the dry months from October to April, taking in the same Delta wildlife and birdlife as neighbouring Setari but with a smaller, quieter camp atmosphere.
