Gomoti Private

Gomoti Private is Machaba's most intimate offering, tucked into the vast NG32 private concession of the Okavango Delta. Capping out at just two tents and six guests, and generally booked on an exclusive-use basis, it functions almost like a private villa within the wilderness — suited to small family groups, honeymooners or friend groups wanting total privacy. Wildlife in the area is dense and varied, with regular elephant and buffalo herds alongside leopard, lion and African wild dog.

Accommodation consists of one double tent and one family tent in the same eco-luxury canvas style used across Machaba's Botswana camps, with en-suite bathrooms and private decking but no air-conditioning. Guests are looked after by a dedicated private guide, personal chef and small hospitality team rather than sharing staff with other guests, reinforcing the exclusive, personalised nature of the stay.

Activities mirror the wider Machaba portfolio — game drives, walking safaris, and seasonal mokoro or motorised boat trips — delivered in a fully private format for the sole use of the booking party. The camp includes a plunge pool, small tented dining/lounge area, curio shop and library, along with in-room spa treatments, scaled down and made exclusive.
