Gomoti Plains Camp

Gomoti Plains sits on the edge of a smaller flood plain of the Okavango Delta, framed by tall palm trees, in a private concession informally dubbed the "predator capital" of the region for its dense lion prides, wild dog dens, and leopard and cheetah sightings, alongside large buffalo herds and plains game. Its private-concession, riverine-plain setting supports rich, seasonally shifting habitat for both mammals and birds.

The accommodation follows Machaba's signature eco-luxury canvas tent design across two family tents and eight double tents (10 total, max 24 guests), intentionally without air-conditioning or hairdryers in keeping with the brand's low-impact ethos. The camp includes an oversized tented social/dining deck with bar and lounge areas, large fire pits, and a communal plunge pool.

Guest activities span land and water: 4x4 game drives, guided walking safaris, and — when seasonal water levels allow — mokoro canoe trips and motorised boat rides offering a water-level vantage point on wildlife. Guest feedback highlights strong guiding, varied activities, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
