Chobe Game Lodge

Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent lodge situated inside Chobe National Park on the river itself, and by far the largest and most amenity-rich property in the Desert & Delta portfolio. A five-star, fully eco-graded lodge (Botswana Tourism Board), it caters to a broad range of travellers — families, groups, honeymooners and small corporate or incentive retreats — across 44 rooms and suites accommodating up to 94 guests.

The lodge's public spaces are extensive: six viewing decks, a riverside boma, two bars (including a cigar bar with library and billiard table), six lounges and four dining locations, plus a spa, gym and conference facilities. All rooms are river-facing and air-conditioned, and the four river-view suites each come with a private plunge pool.

Chobe Game Lodge has invested heavily in low-impact operations, running a fleet of solar-electric powered safari boats and four electric game-drive vehicles for near-silent wildlife viewing along a stretch of river home to the largest concentration of elephant in Africa, alongside large buffalo herds, lion, wild dog, puku, red lechwe, sable and roan antelope. A midday eco-tour walks guests through the lodge's sustainability initiatives, and guests staying four nights or more can pre-book a visit to the Kazungula Children's Ark community project.
